Born in 2021 at Bagno La Capannina from an idea by Alberto Lotti, Facciamo Capanna is a project that combines accessible tourism, cultural education and sustainability. With workshops, language courses and an international summer camp , it promotes dialogue between cultures, enhancement of the territory and social integration.
Through activities such as yoga, art, theater, art workshops, cooking and excursions, participants live unique experiences, becoming citizens of the world.

Our activities can be chosen and reserved as single modules , according to your interests; or following specific educational paths , and each has a characteristic color.

What do we offer?

Workshops for boys and girls
Playful workshops where art and nature come together for a unique educational experience!
We use natural products with which children can have fun creating works of art inspired by nature, discovering the beach and the dune and learning the importance of sea rescue. Each workshop is designed to stimulate curiosity and manual skills, discovering the natural environment.

Outdoor activities in the Sterpaia Natural Park
We offer various outdoor activities , including yoga on the beach, where the sound of the waves creates a tranquil atmosphere, and meditation sessions by the sea, accompanied by the sea breeze. We offer walks in the Sterpaia natural park, immersed in nature and surrounded by the native vegetation of the Maremma pine forests, and short excursions to discover the beauties of our territory.

International Summer Camp
We offer linguistic and cultural literacy courses for foreigners , promoting intercultural integration and professional empowerment.
The Summer Camp responds to the needs of its users by proposing to explore intercultural dialogue and respect for differences, in a natural and inclusive context.

For PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
(families and small groups)
We offer workshops and activities designed for groups of children and parents . The workshops aim to develop the manual skills and creativity of participants in a natural and stimulating context.
The activities are mainly recreational and learning through play , using natural and sustainable materials.

For the MUNICIPALITIES
We offer workshops and lessons designed to stimulate and sensitize students to the natural world and the sustainable use of the sea, dunes and pine forest. The aim is to make young adults aware and respectful of their surroundings, but also of their companions.
Bagno La Capannina offers municipalities the opportunity to work and communicate with schools to design customizable outdoor activities.

For COMPANIES
Bagno la Capannina also offers companies outdoor activities at the Bathing Establishment for employees and their families that can be highly customized based on the company's mission to encourage employee socialization and allow participants to experience team building activities on topics related to environmental sustainability and respect for the environment, discovery of the territory and social inclusiveness.

"Blue flag" beach. Clean sand, clear sea. The bathing area is suitable for children, there are games, pools and buckets to fill them easily, possibility of inflating armbands, mattresses. Included in the price of the umbrella also the pedal boat.

In the philosophical essay “Four Huts (or of Simplicity)” a new way of living is hypothesized, telling the stories of four very different characters who decide to retire in a very similar way, in four huts: “four simple architectures, similar and isolated, in which the world is put in parentheses”. The first will host two years of Henry David Thoreau’s life. The second will be the home of the mathematician Theodore Kaczynski, until he is arrested as a terrorist under the name of Unabomber. The third will be the final residence of Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, known simply as Le Corbusier, and the fourth will be the Norwegian home of Ludwig Wittgenstein.
The attempt of this project is to bring a small company, a beach resort, into its cabin: a retreat of guidelines, rules, entrepreneurial actions oriented to a new world. A more just, more ecological, more attentive world.
“La Capannina goes to the hut!” was the motto that led the beach resort to try to define the first steps to follow in order to redefine itself, following the orders of ecology, accessibility, inclusiveness, social sustainability, and the valorization of its heritage.
